Camera Darkroom (formerly Bright Rooms) is a darkroom in Peckham, London, run by photographer and film-maker Dan Fontanelli. Unique to London, Camera Darkroom specialises in private analogue photography workshops for individuals or small groups of up to four friends or family, offering a highly personal experience focused on the needs of the participants.
Recognising that the future of analogue photography lies in practitioners making a living from their work, Camera Darkroom is focused on teaching the aspects of analogue photography and darkroom printing that can make their practice truly unique, from the cameras that will suit their style, film choices and hand film developing through to the myriad of printing techniques used to create prints that truly reflect the artists vision.
